The worst thing possible that could happen when you are
stuck in the desert is no air condition in 101 degree weather. That happened to
us in New Mexico. The Rv was getting really hot so we opened the windows for
fresh air. We also wanted to get Ice Cram from Dairy Queen, but it closed right
when we got there. Night finally began to fall and it felt so good in the Rv

What I realized when I was in New Mexico was some of the
houses. Some houses look like ours in North Carolina. However In New Mexico
there are some houses made of clay like in the ancient times. New Mexico has
lots of casinos just like Oklahoma. The landscape around New Mexico is rocky
and has lots of platues . We also went to see more things on Route 66. Route 66
goes from California all the way to Illinois. Today we saw the real life Cozy
Cone motel that is in Cars. It actually is a real motel on Route 66, instead of
cones it has teepees. Also in Jackrabbit
Arizona it has a sign that has a jackrabbit on it, and the sign says “Here It
Is”. That sign is in Radiator Springs, but instead of a rabbit it has a car on
it. For adults standing on the corner of Winslow Az might seem familiar to you.
The Eagles sang a song and it became famous after it. It was introduced to us
in the 1970’s. There is also a crater in Arizona. It was formed 50,000 years
ago by a meteoroid. The crater is big. Way bigger than I expected it to be. The
last thing I saw was the Usa vs Mexico game on a YouTube live stream. The final
score was Uno to Uno. Tomorrow will be mostly about the Grand Canyon.
