The Beautiful Canyon in Arizona

Williams AZ day 1

Today I went to the magnificent Grand Canyon. The Canyon was way bigger than I expected. The Colorado River runs through the canyon. I added a thing to my bucket list this week. When I become an adult I want to go on the whitewater-rafting trip on the Colorado River while it’s going through the Grand Canyon. The Canyon is 1 mile deep. So if you run a mile that is how deep the canyon is. A crazy thing I learned was that if you go around the circumference of the Grand Canyon, the circumference will be close to the distance from NYC TO LA. Indian tribes still exist around the canyon. The biggest one is the Navajo tribe. Did you know that only 6% of the canyon has been discovered by humans? Also did you know that people have lived around the canyon or in it for 13,000 years? Tomorrow will be a relaxation day and going to Williams AZ for some good Mexican food and Southwest food.
