Canoeing alone down the River

 Buffalo River day 1

 Today I woke up to rain coming down. We were thinking that it was going to rain all day. When we went out to swim it was clear. Tilley, mom, and I went down to the beach while my uncle and my dad wen to get the canoes.  It took an hour to get the canoes and the car ready. My uncle and my dad had to go drop my uncle’s truck at Rush where we will finish canoeing. We finally were out on the water canoeing. On the canoe trip we saw different wildfire. We saw fish in the water, turtles in and out of the water, and a raccoon that Tilley saw before us. Tilley wanted to jump in the water to chase after it. However last time Tilley saw a raccoon she got bit. So Tilley was wining because she did not get her way. We swam in the river for 45 minutes. We finished our canoe trip in 3 hrs. and 30 minutes. That was a 7-mile trip down the River. For dinner we ate my moms friends spaghetti. We also made some homemade ice cream for dinner. We ended up having to come inside because a storm popped up. It was thundering and lightning outside. Tilley was really scared so whenever someone went to the bathroom, she would go in with him or her. Even after my uncle went to the bathroom, Tilley would stay in it. We ended up playing Skip Bo during the storm. My dad won again. So it is time to go back to sleep. Tomorrow we will go canoeing down the river again and hang out by the beach.

Omaha NE- Buffalo Point AR

Today we are heading back down south. The state of Arkansas is where we are heading. We left Omaha at 4:00. I was sleeping all the way to Missouri. It was storming where we were when I woke up. When we were heading to Arkansas, we passed Branson and the Ozark Mountains. When we arrived at the Campground with no service, we went down to the river to swim with my family. Of course Tilley did not want to miss all the fun, she swam in the river with us. We finished the day by playing games. Tomorrow we will go canoe with my Uncle down the Buffalo River.

Omaha Day 2

This morning there were some storms that came in to Omaha. The storms woke me up. I could not go back to bed. So I went in mom’s bed. My dad ended up going to sleep in my bed. While in mom’s bed, I saw some really cool lightning. I woke up at 2:30 from the storm and went back to bed at 4:05. I woke up at 10:00. I went to the dog park with Tilley again. I also went to he jumping pillow again. Before I had o get my camp physical, I went in the pool for 45 minutes with my dad. I then got my Physical so I can go to Camp Cheerio. Now I am very tired, it is midnight and we are leaving for Arkansas in 3 hours so I am going to bed now!! No pictures on this blog LL

Take me out to the ballgame

Omaha Day 1

Its game day in the state of Nebraska. We began our day by playing with Tilley in the dog park. Of course I also went to play on the Jumping Pillow. Soon it was time to go to Omaha. We first got our parking spot. We were one of the last cars able to park in that parking spot. We then walked around the store. In the store you could see lots of different stuff. I got myself a shirt to wear. After we got our shirt, we went to get something to eat. The very first thing I saw was a Pizza place. However when you look inside all you can see is people already drinking too much before the game even begins. We ended up eating at a Mexican restaurant. We ate and then went inside the ballpark. My household was a house divided at the game. Everyone in my family except dad was cheering for Florida. My mom and I did the gator chomp in front of dad just to get a laugh out of it. The traveling from the Tiger fans is crazy. The stadium was about 85% LSU and 15 % Florida. Now it was game time. Florida scored early in the game. At the top of the 3^rd inning it was 2-0 Gators. It wasn’t until the top of the 7^th inning where things got crazy. LSU fans were really mad that they did not get a call their way. Of course some LSU college students and adults decided just to throw trash on the field. That lasted for about 5 minutes. Finally it ended and play continued. By the way LSU is right up there with Duke with the teams I do not like. In the top of the 8^th inning, LSU could not score. But in the bottom of the 8^th Florida got caught on fire. Florida scored 4 runs and made the score 6-1. It got really quiet in the stadium. In he 9^th inning LSU fans started to get their possum hats on. The possum stuff all started against Arkansas so I will not discuss about it. One LSU fan decided to throw a fake possum on the field. That fake possum did not do the magic. Florida won is now the kings of the college baseball world. I also saw Marlins Man. Marlins man is a major sports fan who goes to 300 games every year. You will find him at different sporting events like the SB, NBA finals, baseball games, CWS, The NLDS, the ALDS, NHL championship, etc. He always has the best seat in the house. Tomorrow I will Relax t the RV

Custer SD- Omaha NE

Today I began my day sleeping on the couch. My parents woke up at 3:15 to get ready to go while I was still sleeping. When I woke up I checked my phone to see what time it was. I was shocked on what the time was. It was 9:15. I was also shocked on how much I had slept. However I realized that we changed over to Central time. Most of SD, Iowa, and NE are just grasslands. We saw lots of cows on our trip. However a few cities in the states have lots of buildings. In Sioux Falls SD we saw more buildings then we saw anywhere else in SD. When we got into Iowa, we followed a river all the way until NE. Also while we were in Iowa, we saw grasslands then all the sudden we saw the skyscrapers of Omaha. When we got to the KOA, I went to the dog park with Tilley. I also spent lots of the time at the jumping pillow, a trampoline basketball goal, and the mini zip line. I also watched game 1 of the CWS. In which Florida won.  Tomorrow is the baseball game at TD Ameritrade Park. #GoGators #BeatLSU!
