A Relaxing day on the river

Cotopaxi CO day 1

The reason the blogs are so late is because we have no service in Cotopaxi. However I am actually enjoying life on the Arkansas River. The fun on this section of the trip has just begun. We hung out at the KOA today. We began our day by eating a big brunch. I ate 2 helpings of hash browns while my parents ate eggs and hash browns. It was also laundry day here at the KOA. During laundry we first went to see about our rafting trip for tomorrow. We came back to the KOA and played a game of pool. It was my dad vs. Mom and I. My dad came out with the win unfortunately. We then went back to the laundry and put it in the dryer. We played mini golf after that. Here comes the competitive Blake again. I got really mad at myself when I kept on rimming the hole. I could have won if it did not keep rimming the hole. My mom came in 1^st with 27 points and my dad and I tied for 2^nd with 30 points. My dad went back for the laundry while my mom took a little Catnap. We brought the laundry back over then headed back to the pool. The pool went up to only 4 ft. so I went over there a couple of times. I mostly stayed in the 2 ft. section because I can sit on the bottom of the pool without going under. We were at the pool for about 30 minutes. We came home and relaxed only for a few minutes. We started making our Ice Cream and we also started making our Fajitas and cheese dip for dinner. Tomorrow we will have an adventure going White Water Rafting.
