Hurricane UT day 2
Today we went to the Bryson Canyon. The Bryson Canyon is actually on a staircase. It is called the grand staircase. The Grand Canyon is at the bottom, Zion is in the middle, and Bryson Canyon is at the top. Something I saw today was damage from a wildfire that happened in 2009. That wildfire was the largest ever in Bryson Canyons history. We also had a picnic in the park. We saw some natural bridges and lots of hoodoos. Hoodoos are tall and thin that form on the bottom of a drainage basin. We then left the park. As we were leaving the park, we saw something gray in the sky. I looked on my phone and it said there is a wildfire just NE on where we were staying. We were heading towards Zion so my mom can get some photos of that park on her camera. We drove strait through the smoke from the fire on the way to Zion. Tomorrow we will be going to Grand Junction Colorado!
