Grand Junction CO- Cotopaxi CO
Today we are off to the Arkansas River. We first got in the Rv to get ready to leave. Oh wait before that I had an orthodontist appointment. I got a wire stuck in my gum at the bottom of the mouth. I got it back on but my parents said I still had to go. I now have part of a wire cut of I the back until I have my next appointment. We left the campground and headed toward Wal-Mart. My mom was in the grocery store for 1.5 hours. She bought lots and lots of food. It ended up costing 298.00. The food will last us the rest of the trip. The scenery was also amazing like Utah. We went in and out of the Rockies. We now hit the highest point on this trip to Cotopaxi. It was the continental divide. It divides the rivers and which way it goes and which ocean it goes in. The elevation is 11,310 ft. There is still some snow on top of the mountain. I went to a little section of snow and played around in it with my flip-flops on. Who said that flip flops are only for the beach! On the way to Cotopaxi we saw our first glimpse of the Arkansas River. We finished the drive and tomorrow will be a relaxing day.
