Soccer time!!!

Nashville TN day 1

I began my day today by getting ready to go to Cheerio. First I went to Great Clips to get my Haircut. I also went to Target to get clothes ready for camp because the RV has not arrived yet. After we got all of our clothes, I found out the RV is on our way to Nashville. Mom and I then headed up towards Nissan Stadium. We saw people dressed up as Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton walking up toward our gate. We got to the stadium and headed up to our seats. So apparently USA does not care about soccer. How about having 47,622 people in Nissan Stadium. The highest in Tennessee soccer history! The bottom level was sold out and the club level was also sold out. However the top level was about 1/6 full. In the first half no goals were scored. In second half USA scored first in the 50th minute by Dom Dwyer. Dom was actually born in England. Dom moved here to America 8 years ago. Dom finally got his citizenship in the USA. Dom has played 2 games and has 2 goals for the country. In the 60th minute Panama struck back. Some more history about my family. My grandfather is a really famous painter down in Panama. He has painted pictures of things in Panama like the canal. Also my mom lived in Panama her 10th grade year with some of her friends that now live in the United States and Canada. The final score was 1-1. We stayed for half of the next game between Martinique and Nicaragua. I was cheering for the French territory Martinique. Martinique scored the 1st goal from a header. Even though there were no people that were actually from Martinique there, all the Americans were cheering for the underdog. A player from Martinique crossed someone up and everyone got crazy. I left at Halftime and when I got back to John and Renee’s house, I saw that Martinique won 2-0. The RV arrived in Nashville at 9:00, but it was not done there. We started heading up to camp and stopped about 60 miles out of Knoxville. Tomorrow I will be going to Camp Cheerio for my 7th year and t will be my last blog for this trip.
